For my 13th birthday my folks got me a department store snowboard to learn on. Used it for a year or two and then got to go to Royal Sports here in Winnipeg and get my first "real" set up. I chose a joyride cat in the hat in purple. Loved that board! Shredded it for a few years and then it got stolen out of my Honda Civic one night. Replaced it but honestly lost the loving feeling for snowboarding after that. The new gnu just never felt right or as comfortable to me.
Anyways so after kinda peeking around for one for a couple years I found one the same as my original for sale on a Google search last year. The lady was super nice and shipped it to me. Haven't decided how I'm going to display it yet, but looking at it leaning in my skate room sure adds to the nostalgia.
