So, a year or two ago I tried to get my then 9 year old interested in skateboarding and it went nowhere. Finally this November his buddy's at school were into it and now he is interested. He had no idea I would blow some money on him for skateboarding. He has been skating for a couple of months now and I got a couple vids at 3rd lair in the Minneapolis area. I got to pull out my old Powell too at 42. A kid stopped me and asked me if I saw Search for animal chin. Ha!

| Great! I've been trying to get my 8 year old daughter on board as well. She's had a board, but she's so cautious. So I bought her a Penny deck like all the other kids have...smooth sailing, but still tentative. This weekend will give it a good push... |

Rad dude, you are in for some fun. I skated with some dads and their sons a few years ago and it seemed so rad.
My boy actually just started standing and pushing last weekend.

| My 4-yr-old daughter gets sooo stoked when a new board comes in the mail. She always says, "I LOVE your new skateboard dad!"... And she'll want to sit on it and shred down the driveway! Pretty soon she'll graduate to the local skatepark! |
