So I'm standing next to the 15" halfpipe at the park on Saturday watching Tonez give everyone in the park a good spanking with head-high aerials and 540s and shit when I notice there's about 30 f**kin' bmxers/mountainbikers lined up at the roll-in. I'm like, "what the f**k?!!"
Then this 7 year-old gromm rolls over and stands beside me (riding Blackfartz no less). The kid looks over at the mob of bikers and says to me, matter-of-factly: "Why would they even want to ride their bikes in there? I mean, what's the point?"
I laughed my ass off! And the kid had said it loud enough that most of the knobs on bikes heard him and they all had this stupid look on their face.
I couldn't help but think that skateboarding isn't quite as doomed as some have proffered.
That's one gromm that will no doubt lead the way for others. Kid rips too! Carves up the clover like the old dogs.

i think bmx is cool as hell,,they just need their own parks lets face it bikes and skates dont mix well in a park together and pegs fuck up wood or crete creating costly repairs to the ramps..im sure most people that skate were into bmx or freestyle first before they relized what was up with skateing and ditched their bikes for boards.
i dont think there is any reason to come on a skateboard collectors forum and make a big stink about how cool bmx is,maybe you should be out practicing miami hoppers and switzerland squeakers
i must admit i have a small collection of bmx crap also
