Howdy,
So, if I were to go with the Ditch Killer, the
Seismic 150mm trucks would be a good
choice; with the wheel choice depending
upon how fast I want to go?
I keep thinking that maybe the Flywheels
would be too much if I wanted to be able
to do some ditch/bowl skating as well with
the Ditch Killer...but for top end, 100mm??!!!
Get a life insurance policy I guess...

that ditch killer looks like it could easily kill and ditch!
and it could prolly turn a mellow bowl upside-down!

Hey Chris
if you are gonna do anything but bomb, the Abec11 101's or 92's are kinda overkill.. The 74mm Fly's or some Gumballs, Or Flashbacks would be a lot more versatile (for that matter the 83's would too,) but the 74s work a lot better if you wanna ride it in a park -- you can run the 75a for grip, but they have a pretty thin layer of urethane on a big hard core, so they are faster than a solid urethane wheel of comparable size and duro... the bigger you get, acceleration starts to suffer-- I wouldn't put anything over about 85mm on that board and going over 80 might be kinda pushing it...

Howdy,
Well...maybe I should have two sets of wheels!
A set of the big-ass 4WD Flywheels for "bombing
runs" and a set of(somewhat) smaller wheels
for ditches and bowls.
I like the massive cut-aways on the Ditch Killer;
I know it's not the only deck out there with that
shape though. But it seems like it'd be a fairly
versatile longboard.(yeah...44" IS a longboard!!!)
I'll look into th Fantail Hybrid Carver again; I
checked it out a while ago, and as I recall, it was
pretty interesting.
Does the addiction ever end?

Chris,
If you wanna go REALLY fast, you should read K-LEE's post on NCDSA about wobbles on Seismics. I forget what the threshold was 30? 50? mph, but he passed it, and beefed.
