I've been able to track items from the US to Aust in the past.
Step by step updates at each stage. |

Are you saying that it was shipped with Priority or above and not trackable with the customs #? |

Not sure if this was why I couldn't track it.
Shipped from San Diego but with a Canada Post tracking label.
Every other package I've got from the US was with a US Priority label.

Canada post shows it going to Canada, being refused by customs and returned to sender. USPS shows that it knows it's a package to Australia, but doesn't track it.
It all seems a little odd, but I don't know.
USPS Priority is trackable to Australia. |

It seems like it was sent from San Diego on Dec 30th, by USPS. Somehow it ended up in Canada but was denied by customs and was shipped from there, by Canada Post, on Jan 5th. What's odd is the Canada Post tracking is messed up and still shows as undelivered although Xpresspost should be trackable and it still looks like a US customs referenece number. I would assume they either shipped it back to the sender who once again shipped it out to you or - more likely - they simply rerouted it to Australia reusing the original US customs reference number which is not a tracking number. In either case it seems like your guy - or the postal system - fucked this one up hence it took a while to get to you. Glad you got it eventually though. |

Cheers JChan and Clownbaby. Mystery solved.
Yeah, I'm just glad it got where it was meant to go. |

I've had decks that I could track until they left the U.S., then no word whatsoever once they reached Australia... For 30+ days. Then, suddenly, they magically arrive at the buyer's home. Apparently, they just sit there in Australian customs for about 25-35 days acclimating to the new environment before they can move into their new home. It's kind of like adopting a child apparently. |
