Tried my buddys Skull and Sword and it felt great, nice shape and very solid.

I like them. Just switched to a powell
flames from a black label. The powell
is stiffer but the label was
about two years old. Powell should make
a mid size deck 8.5"-9.0"

Both of my boards are Powells.

I can't complain, the shapes are rad and I haven't had a single problem with warping or premature breaking..

Oh.. I ride an 8" Mini-Logo K-12 and I finally set up the Cab reissue I had in my closet for over a year. It is a pleasure to ride..

I bought the re-issue Vato rat recently because it was the first real deck I had as a kid and the wood is defintely thinner, but it still seems solid.
I ride a Powell N. Geurrerro feather model ('90 or '92) and the board is solid, has a great shape and you can still get them for the price of a new board.
