Caught a good show in Dallas on Sunday:
The Kickz (Dallas locals), the Briefs, and the Real McKenzies. The Briefs killed it with greats like BENNY'S GOT A CIGARETTE, POOR AND WIERD and MY BABY IS A COMMUNIST. Very tight sound with lots of energy.
The Real McKenzies, a celtic punk band with lots of bagpipes and catchy lyrics about Scotland and the like, all wore kilts. They also had a JAK in their band my bro Ripper knew. Both were great and I'd pay to see them both again. |

Real McKenzies are from Vancouver BC. The JAK in question is Jamie. A good shit to say the least. RMcK are a true drinkin' band!
