That surely says something about Fraz and this forum! I only conversed with Fraz once on here when he was trying to find out which photo he took of his ex wife he wanted to use. Through, pms he was really cool and appreciative. I wish I had a chance to get to know him better like of of you on here. He most def would of been someone I could of hung with outside of this forum. Rip! Totally weird! |

I have just found out about this and am in shock. I lived near Fraser and met him a couple of times when he attended middle - aged shred skate sessions. He would not skate much at them but hang out and talk and make people laugh. Whilst a lot of the guys had either pool boards or popsicles Fraser always had a big lump of old wood under his foot from 25-30 years ago. Thats one memory of him. He was stoked on skating, loved to watch skaters ripping.
We talked one night for ages, just about decks and members on here. I was having some beef off an old forum member who was getting a bit hostile and Fraser calmed me down and just said ignore him. In the end this guy ended up getting bootted off the forum.
Another time, I went to Fraser's house once after buying a board off him to pick it up. He gave me a couple of freebies, including a tub of 'goo gone' after I said I was having some trouble with some glue residue after degripping a board. It did the job in minutes and now I keep a stock of it in my garage. Whenever I look at a tub of goo gone I think of Fraser. Top Man!
Lately I had a health scare and did not come on here for ages as I had shit to deal with. When I came back there were unopened mails in my inbox including an unopened mail from Fraser from about 6 months ago asking if I was up for a meet. I felt so gulty, I thought he thougt I was just ignoring him. He was fine with me though. I wish though I had made more of an effort. He literally lived 5 minutes walk from where I sit now at work.
Fuck, life is fragile. |

this is absolutely horrible. I was just thinking about him while I sat in the diner the other day. When he was out here(his wife is from CT.) I took him to a diner near the shop. He had a thing for old school diners.
man RIP Hot Rod.....He was one of the good ones on here.

Only just read about this. I can't believe it.
RIP Frazer. You were definitely one of a kind. They broke the mould when they made you. You'll be sadly missed. |
