I just ran into that Naked Raygun syndrome again this weekend. Rev Horton Heat supported by the Nekromantix and the Creepshow. The Creepshow and the Nekromantix rocket their balls off, but the crowd of boring-ass showroom dummies in their rentabilly brand new Social D gear didn't move a fucking muscle. I don't even know why most of them went. Seriously. I don't get it. And oh yeah, fuck the fucking house of blues. Scumbag fucking plastic venue. Never going back to that shithole.
Guana Batz in 2 weeks at Reggies, a real music venue. That should be goodly. |

That's a proper fucking oxymoron if I've ever heard one!

Going to see Rev Horton Heat, Deke Dickerson and Nekro in April - small Alex's bar here...should be fun. Rentabilly will be in full force, but I like the girls, so oh well. I just want to watch them guitars swing.
But there you go, more sleepy head xanax or way too strong of weed kids- it's not the House of Blues, it's the way it is. |

Was looking at albums getting repeated play and I must say The Gaslight Anthem has a way of hanging around with a couple albums. Quite a craft to write multiple albums on the same 4 chords, just change up or down...and make me want to listen to them.
Saw the same 2 albums in my Dad's parentvan. Funny though, he's also known to have Rancid albums mixed with Van Morrison. |

just saw a long interview with the meteors on youtube by some german gal. Was interesting. PPF seems like a decent down to earth bloke. Dunno why he moved to germany though. |
