I’m looking into getting a long board but I’m a little confused on what to get. I’ve got a few longboards I’m interested in buying but I still don’t know which type would be better. It seems most longboards don’t have a kick tail. I live in a pretty flat part of the country so I don’t suppose I’ll be bombing down steep hills. So mostly I need a longboard for riding around the city and doing down building parking garages LOL.

I’m assuming from all I’ve read the boards with flat tails ie. drop decks and pintails are better for steep hills the stuff like that. Wouldn’t longboard with a kicktail be more appropriate for my needs? Right now I’m looking at the Arbor Bug or the Santa Cruz JESSEE AK-47. What do you think would be a better board for my needs?

Thanks dudes

The bug is the better option that you posted...although, I'd look for one with a griptape top, instead of the clearcoat/woodgrain.

Otherwise, look at what motorpsycho posted...Or here:

...Especially that last one. That's a great garage bomber.
