Do they break? Seems like with all that weight hanging on 4 screws, something might break. At least with a regular setup the top of the truck is against the bottom of the deck. I've never gotten into this kind of skateboard until very recently. Will the corners of the trucks break off? Screw heads break off? Do I need to worry?  |

If drop-mounts will hold my fat ass, yours will be just fine. Just make sure you use washers on the underside, so the mounting nuts won't dig into the deck. |

Thanks for the reassurances. I just cut up a 44" Comet fiberglass/wood longboard to drop through some Indys. I put some Cambrias on it. My first lowrider... I intend to use it for a little downhill and boardwalk cruising/skogging.
I'll post some pics of my handiwork. |
