So , as a kid my Dad bought this off one of my friends when I was 11 so the kid had some money to go roller skating with me . 28 years later I find it in an old box at my Dads house . And it looked old when my Dad got it. I have no info on it at all . It is a extra long butterfly knife. If anyone here could help me out with it ?? Thanks

i'll take a stab at this..i am assuming it was around 85' when this was bought by yer pops.that time frame was still popular with ninja and king fu movies and whatnot,so most local general stores selling boom boxes and japanese made voltron toys had these in their glass case somewhere...by the register .they also sold ninja stars and nun chucks to anybody that would buy them..soemtimes even kids.those were good times...you sure there isn't a "made in taiwan" stamped somewhere?any monogram lettering?
not sure what the town "landscape' looked like in that time frame in your neck of the woods, but it looks cool by todays standards...
its hard to tell what kinda wood inlay/design it has without looking at it up close...not sure if the silverish-design has a rainbow-reflection or glow, could be prismatic in nature... |

Oh, I remember the Friday Night Kung-fu shows we use to watch all the time back then Use to love them . Yeah there is not any made in China or anywhere else stamp. The only thing I can find marked is the side of the blade and the clasp at the bottom of it on the metal . Here is some pics of that . Thanks
