it's strange isn't it, something just kind of hits you inside and you go "hey, I'd like to try that.."
slalom is one of those things...
you will see the big mags start showing other types of skateboarding (besides rails and ledges 99% of the time)...this will get more folks interested in other disciplines..which I believe makes skateboarding stronger.
if you 're a street skater and you finally step up to riding bowls, it's the same type of idea.
conversely, it would be great to see longboarders pick up more pool boards..
slowly, slowly...
but it's coming along |

i wuld really like to get into this but its hard enough skating what i already do...
i may have to take a trip out with the CT guys and have a peek at what this is all about.
id def love to rock it DP stylee though. no spandex and aerodynamics for me. even though i would look damn good in them.

| we have the big LUNA SLALOM JAM coming up april 17th for anybody that is interested...its become a big event for slalom...red bull is coming out and givin us the inflatable arch, the stereo truck thing, and of course all the red bull you can handle...i dont suggest yegerbombs for this event though...it starts out giant slalom and turns into tight slalom...it is on our famous Fondren hill...this event is held at night hint the name LUNA SLALOM JAM...we already have over 30 pros coming out would love to see more...if anybody knows Ricky Byrd he is the one heading up all of this |

the big LUNA SLALOM JAM is this saturday april 17th...this is the sounths biggest race...over 50 signups already...skatems.com to check it out...by the way the beautiful Steve Olsen is competing

| Hope that's an old pic 'cause i thought Olson quit smoking. Likely story, huh? ha! (but you never know - for some stupid reason I seemed to have quit and i smoked dunhills for nearly 20 years) |
