What if you were to stretch the mesh over a flat screen the same size as the deck shaped frames we use now. And what if that flat screen was adjustable in shape to conform to the shape of the deck frames after the mesh was streatched? Would the mesh stay stretched? It would make the stretching process a hell of a lot easier. I would be willing to work out blue prints for it if the theory is correct.

I remember someone saying a long time ago, maybe it was Ohio, That he stretched mesh on flat metal screens and then bent it to fit hit rig.... is that right?

you build a frame that is hinged or kind of dovetailed maybe with a wingnut running through. then when you're done stretching the screen flat, you could gently reposition into proper deck shape.

I think the mesh on thin metal would work the same as the metal frames that they use for hats. I have a small hat press, and the frames with the mesh are made of a thin metal. They are flat, but bend into shape when you put them in the press. The same process would probably work for a skate deck.

It wouldnt be worth it for you to do 4 or 5 sets, I mean set up alone will be $20 plus $10 per wheel set... your looking at about $15 per set. Its up to you though homie.
