Metallica/1989/Damaged Justice tour/Reno, NV. Mindblowing for a 15 year old
Sunny Day Real Estate/2000/Rising Tide tour/Portland, OR.
Avail/Mid 90s/San Francisco, CA
Hot Water Music, Leatherface, Small Brown Bike/2001/San Francisco, CA
Planes Mistaken For Stars/2001/My friend's living room in Arcata , CA. This was one of the most awesome "shows" I ever witnessed. Planes was touring and some friends from the local scene drove up to Eugene to see them play. The band had a day off before a long haul down to the Bay area and followed my friends down to Arcata for a midway place to crash. It only took a little pressure (ie weed) to get the band to set up in the tiny living room and play a more or less private show for 20 sweaty dudes. For those that have no idea who PMFS is, just imagine having one of your favorite bands set up at your house for you and a few friends. |

Cannot even touch most of the shows listed in this thread. But some of my favorites that I've been to:
-Alice Cooper, any of them. I've seen him about 7 times I think, since 2003.
-Pretty Boy Floyd and Faster Pussycat, 2003ish.
-Anthrax around 2000, with Fu Manchu. Even though John Bush was on vocals, I was still stoked as hell.
-Barfight, Count Me Out, Shark Attack and American Nightmare, 2001ish.
-Inquisition, winter 93/94, because it was my first show ever (not counting seeing ZZ Top in 7th grade with my aunt and uncle) and I thought it was the coolest thing ever. |

In no real order:
-Nine Pound Hammer- Hayseed Timebomb tour
- Willie Nelson (x2)- awesome, great preformer.
-Cramps, Guitar Wolf, Demolition Doll Rods
- New Bomb Turks/Teengenerate (even though Teengenerate pretty much blew up the pa- and was playing first!)
- Murder City Devils- the first time out after "Empty Bottles..." was put out
...oh so many good shows, so little space to type.
I better throw in Monkeywrench, that was a pretty fun night, too. |
