nick-
i've been using nazdar 9800 inks lately, but i have a bunch of colors from a company called ink tech that seem to work really well. they are all enamel inks, but beware of mixing different inks on the same deck because some times the two brands will react to each other in a bad way and you end up with a orange peeled piece of crap.

useless-
i did this deck with nothing but flat screens. i needed them quick and all my full size screens were being used elsewhere.

later,
howie

Flat but big right? My screen is like 1'x 8"
for shirts and stuff, and the wood frame hits the deck. I tried to make a curve in it so it would fit the deck but since it was like 2 am and I couldnt use power tools I used a chizel its not so pretty.

Id like to thank everyone for all their info you'v all been a big help!

i would say the screen needs to be at least 18 inches by 30 inches.

Ill tell ya why so wide....so you screen has a bit of give to it...the best screens are worn out ones though....give them time and stretch them.....they will work better

Im gettin a slightly used screen from my riders sister, she goes to MICA and art school. Its a square screen but its 2ft by 3ft. The same size as my table, I think it should work well. She can burn images for us alot.(score)

Im not sure about my ink...I want it to be shiney. The acrylic water based looked shiney, can I use that?

Thanks alot, I hope to be set up soon and get some pics.

Yeah, you definately wanna go wide. One thing you wanna watch is your mesh count. I would say stay above 123 and below 230. Im going to be getting on this deck printing craze heavy pretty soon. I printed a small lot of 20 over a year ago. (one color) I used a 156. Good coverage but not to heavy. Print on hommies.
