Having seriously problems photographing any of my boards that are bright colors on black dip. Have tired several cameras, various lighting conditions and the amount of black in contrast to the colors just blows it out.
This is why I mostly show one decent photo because other photos are nearly impossible.

Have you tried using a flash diffuser? |

Negative. My set up is rather basic.
I am capable of borrowing a new loaded Nikon but not sure how to proceed. The colors continue to vibrate. The hot point on the board is just a light bulb reflection.
Sorta frustrated because I am just not getting the pictures I desire. So thus decks look like crap when in actuality they are not. |

it may sound stupid but try using a piece of shit roll in front of the flash.
unused shit roll that is...unless wanting a brown effect!  |

If you can invest in a polarizing filter and two sheets of polarized film to cover your lights it will take 90% or more of the glare off. My artwork is at times extra glossy. And I asked a pro photo guy and he told me to find a polarizing filter. If your camera can take lens attachments the are usually not too much. I think my filter cost $20 bucks. Nonetheless, beautiful art on the board. |
