I'm a noob cunt to this site and because of this sub-forum I thought I'd post some SK8 art I've done. I built a 5-string resonator banjo back in 2006 and personalized the whole schebang with inlay I designed. The below pic is of the back of the headstock where I made an inlay using an old pic of me carving a turn. The hair and shoes are abalone, face and hands are mother of pearl, the pants are soapstone I collected in South Carolina, the shirt and wheels are pipestone I collected at Pipestone Monument in MN , the deck is ebony and trucks aluminum. I left it plain with no carvings, I was going to etch and darken black features to all the face, clothing, etc. for more detail, but since this was my first effort at inlay I didn't want to f*#& it up cause it was going to be permanent.
Here is the pic of the banjo, and an openback I did...and my old dog, Buddur.
