My grandmother opened a bar in Mossyrock, Wa back in the 1950's and called it the Pioneer Tavern. You can find it from I-5. Just take the highway 12 exit from I-5 north or south and go east toward yakima. Eventually will come to the tiny town of Mossyrock.
Anyway, in the 1960's the Army Corps of engineers began building the Morton and Mossyrock Dams respectively. As a response to the influx of Dam workers, my grandmas created the Dam Burger...."The Biggest Dam Burger in the Damn County".
Anyway, they still have em' and they're damn good.
My cousin and aunt run the joint now since my grandma passed.
If you're ever in the area to hunt, ski, camp, fish, hike, mountainbike, etc...it's worth the stop. |

The hamburgers are big enough to scare off the most ruthless predators. I'm serious. The burgers are comparable to bucketheads.
And yeah, when you're THAT deep in the woods, there's most definitely safety in numbers.
In fact, my Aunt back in the day, offered safety and comfort on top of the pool table to lucky hunting parties. |

12 oz burger, lettuce, tomato, onion, guacamole, backbacon, bacon, more bacon, onion rings, chipotle mayo and almost a loaf of bread worth for the bun.
Looks like more than 12oz to me. 12 lbs? Or is this some sorta Canuckstanian Metric Witchery? |

that's what I was thinkin, 12 oz is 3/4 lb, or a Wendys triple stack for comparison. I'm just impressed BB has a post that isn't about prison. |

Uh, there are no prisons in Mossyrock. Mossyrock is a kind of prison way out in the woods maybe.
And that burger looks more like 24 ounces to me. |
