I don't mind drilling holes for the nose guards, as opposed to just using screws. The Ratnuts they come with have that blind rivet nut which goes through the hole. Tighten the screw from the other side and it sandwhiches the wood. I guess they actually sold the ratnuts as board repair kits. When delaminating, drill holes and install the ratnuts around the edges. I haven't had any problems. |
