No wheel input. Just props for getting back on the wood and hanging with the kids. sweeT!
Not surprised you'd want to hang with the kids...
Especially after your wanting to fuck anything from 8-80 comment.
Hahah.
Don't rag on Captain Crunch, he is tender hearted.
Besides... he might bust out a guilt trip on you and shame you into liking his tailgate quiver. |

Fuck these dudes razzing you, they all eat ass. Pay no attention.
First off, all bushings in 'modern' trucks suck. Buy 60$ worth of bushings, and fuck around with combos till you find one that feels ok when you stand on it, firmly planted in carpet. Think it'll turn ok? Good start.
Second, worry about sliding out. Get the gummiest, but American poured, wheels you can. Don't worry about going faster, worry about holding that line bro.
Third- subscribe to Concrete Wave, fuck Thrasher (that shit is bunk); and get some Rockin' Rons.
Problem solved. |

Just like he did on del... And then want to "publicly" apologize.

Thanks for all the suggestions. A SnB member is hooking me up with a good set of Rainskates Stingers 59mm 100a for cheap. I'll let you know how they work out. This forum rules! |

My story is similar to yours. I'm 36 and started skating again after a 20yr break. Moved to Denver a while back and the concrete parks here are amazing!
I have been skating 60mm Rat Bones II (97a) and they work great carving up the concrete bowls. I hooked it up on a 10" Powell Peralta old school Ripper deck with 9" Tracker SixTracks, 3/8" risers, rails, and said Rat Bone Wheels. Almost identical to what I skated in the late 80s. Love it.
Be careful, as you know the bails hurt a lot more these days. I have already nursed a sprained foot, and wrist. Good times. Enjoy the time with the kidos. |

congrats on getting back in the mix. someone once said that this is the golden age of skateboarding. I would have to agree considering the amount of parks out there
Type-S makes a fantastic 98A wheel for concrete. If you want speed, RocknRon bearings can't be beat for the price. |

You will love them! Nice fast, plenty of grip, but will break away if you want them too. They work great on concrete parks.
