Back around 2007 I broke my left wrist, and quickly lost trust in the doctors.
I decided againts their suggested operation..pins plate etc..
Since im left handed I feared losing my abilty to write, draw, and paint.
I forced myself to sketch while in recovery and drew this skull.

Tonight having the night off, and wanting to do an art project I dug up that skull pic.
I'd like to do a series, nothing as ambitious as one per day(lazy emoticon)
I have one more canvas this size that I may bust out tonight as well.

10 inch by 10 inch oil on canvas.
Im thinking same skull, different colorways, themes, styles...
Fully open to critique, opinions etc...thanks
My roomate has already put dibs on this one BTW

maybe some way to add in the broken hand to the ripper image....

skull and hand theme together...???

..or giving the dr's the finger...??

maybe the pins and plates need to be in/on the hand or pushed away....or a paintbrush, or pencil in hand of the ripper drawing itself as it breaks through the canvas...??

...fist bump either way... hope this gets a few ideas rolling...

Thanks for the ideas Gator.
I might do a mixed media project for the second round.
