Thanks for the kind words and for looking. I hope to have more shows, since that seems to be the only thing that gets me off my ass to paint. |

I needed subject matter but didn't have time to go find people to photograph so I turned to google images. But I also didn't want anyone recognizable or that came up with a search for 'old man' so I made up names and when I found an interesting face I used it as a starting point. They all have made up names and little back stories that I put on the name cards displayed with them at the gallery.
So they are people I've never met. It also helps when people ask the unavoidable question, "who are they"
I can see say, I don't know asshole. Didn't you see the name of the show? |

Cool - thanks for the scoop...sounds like fun to play into - with made up stories. Imagine the stories were stretched pretty good as well. |
