i've visited HAMB since I'm inspired to do a jeep build eventually, but never went to the art posts. It's tough to get into that board without owning a custom...or it's tough to get into any board without actively participating.
I used to go to conceptart often, but I don't do the kind of art that is preferred over there, so again it's tough to get into it. There some insanely talented people on conceptart though, so it's awesome to peruse.
I also used to go on stencilrevolution, but same reason above is why I couldn't get into it. I did participate in a stencil black book from there like 7 years ago.
I like it in here for the same reasons bobby mentioned. I also post on a motorcycle forum in their art section, but it's rarely frequented (dotheton)
Lastly I post in the art section of VWVortex, mostly because I've been a member to that site since 2001. |

I've been a member(was a paid) member of Deviantart, then have spent 6 years of my life exposing the mediocraty of the Deviant, I am actually a contributor to EncyclopediaDramatica. Because dA used to be artist, now it just exists to sell shitty anime prints and you can literally rip off some anime, call it your own and get 600 page views in an hour and 60 comments.
The thing is there's some really well known and very respected digital/photgraphers and then there is a community of suckage photo-manips, weboo, Azn sucktards that turned the place into anything but art or artist.
Check out the chat and bulletin boards it's literally nothing but RPG's for furries, anime discussions about nothing and a whole lot of fat girls that say they have no sexual identity and are Asian sexless boys that have girlfriends(who are really boys) that live half the world away that they will never meet.
I fully endorse the site. |

| bluecanvas.com is cool. They publish an excellent art magazine too, which they fill up with user contributed art work that is selected by user recommendations. They are in their 7th issue. I like the site, it is well designed and has a wide variety of mediums and styles. |
