This is a 15" x 24" color pencil drawing i did in my old high school art class that I've kept in my attic since the early 80's! It's a image of Mike Smith taken from a black and white photo I found in a current issue of Thrasher mag from 1981.
I was 16 years old at the time, 30 years ago:)

Thanks guys for the kind words and compliments on this one!
Yes, high school art class was fun, i never missed that class and the teacher always had my attention... daily:)
sometimes i wish i would had stuck with artwork since i left high school, but something called a skateboard fully distracted me from progressing at it and learning more about it on my own till way later on in my life when i started getting serious about it! |

i guess it could be both, but i was thinking more on the lines of the super realistic depiction. everything about that is super awesome. technically speaking of course. we both know art is a lot of things and even more ways to interpret, even as simple as an ink blot as a mere expression. |
