Just some thing I am working on, equal amounts of inking then some acrylic white on illustration board. Then when it's done I am going to put it on a canvas with doilly, spatter gold paint...I kid, I jest.
I don't know what it will be but this is just the black and white work.
This is the second image in a series much like the Jungle Rot. So possibly the helmeted skull will float in air, or dead space.
4.10.2011:
Finally got around to working on this again which meant starting over on several sections.
Close up of the texturing on the foam headpiece.

That's cool.
And if I was an astronaut I would be freaked out by it. |

Would you rot in space? Would you be freeze dried? |

Spacelab showed that even minus degrees things rotted.
Maybe he's crash landed on earth?
He rotted from his own bacteria in his stomach....or something ate him...or he dried off and was baked by radiation.

Goddammit Kray, you have got to stop it!
I got a thing for skulls in space helmets.
Gotta go watch Planet of the Vampires again now...
P.S. , can I use that as my avatar? |

Sure just give me a bit of time to finish it up.
Astronauts can do anything.
The only thing that's impossible is dinosaurs...astronauts can do anything...
Even play baseball.

First off:
Thank you guys.
Yet.
1. I'm a hack.
2. I don't know how to draw.
3. I thought I could turn my fame from being an award winning brain surgeon fame into instant art fame and I was wrong.
4. I keep drawing half portraits like drawing a full portrait is somehow impossible. |
