shallow looked a little smaller than the 69, both in lenght and width. Still looked great. The street area looked like a blast, and the smaller bowl looked good too. I am thinking I might go wed this week, or maybe even turkey day. I have some pics on my phone, i'll see if I can figure out how to get them on here. It's been 2+ years sense my last sesion, but this place has me wanting to skate again. I can't think of a better endorsment for a park than that. |

The park is damn good!
I feel fortunate to have a great one so close to home.
I skated the big 69-esque bowl on Wednesday.
The youngin's were too scared to drop in.
I had to show 'em how its done. |

my folks retired in Cedar Park and last summer my son and I hit the park a bunch of times...great place...
third session there I blew my knee in the big bowl getting too bold for my own good...
this was the biggest my son had ever skated...it was amazing to see the reaction on his face after he carved around the bowl...
but, yeah, they did a great job with that place...
If you live in Texas, it's a must hit... |

My son and I have gone there a couple times. We live about 45 minutes from there. When I think back on my childhood, and having to build ramps out of scrap wood, and skating in ditches by the side of the highway, although that was fun at the time, I'd have to slap someone if they complained about Cedar Park. I couldn't even dream of a skatepark that nice when I was a kid. I'd definitely like to hit it up on Old Man night. |
