As I walked down one of the aisle's in the evil empire known as Wal-mart I saw something that just made me sick to my stomach at the sight of it. The Tyco radio controlled Tony Hawk. What is happening to our world? Does anyone else feel the same way I do, are you pissed off at all the insanely stupid corporates making skateboarding a joke! I feel this shit needs to stop! How do you feel about this?

stivason71.... Apparently you didn't realize that the real Tony Hawk is a remote controlled robot. I thought the total lack of style made that obvious.

yeah, its shit, no doubt! but thats what consumers do- they COMSUME(read: the oposite of create). and ALL honest, visceral, and REAL cultural movements have, and unfortunately will be exploited for the dollar. capitalism- can you smell it? it leaves all of its waste in the gutter. and soon skateboarding will have been anohter "fad" to them. again. |

And when it all comes crashing down I'll still be carving and grinding any suitable terrain I can find. And, with a little luck, buying all your collections up at pennies on the doller... Mwah ha ha ha ha.... damn, let the cat outa the bag again.... Narf! |
