downed light pole

I noticed this behind a store last week and yesterday it was nice enough to skate it.

It's slippery as hell.

Rad. That looks cool for doing a sort of slappy smith grind where you hook your back truck over the lip and lean onto your back toes pushing the board forward.

had one of those fall down in my hometown years ago. all the younger skaterats hauled it away, I think cut the ends off. Then you could prop it up on either or both sides. So much fun. Claim that thing and move it away.

Those are always fun. I really liked skating one that we propped up, so it created a kind of "up-rail"... it ate your speed sliding or grinding up it, but if you just blasted at it you could pop out at the top. Good times.
