I would love to see some old pics of North Ryde skatepark if they are out there. Bit of a grom at the time. Don't think I ever paid, remember climbing under the fence, maybe why it closed down for bus parking. Not much I know by US standards but I remember the tiles on the big bowl being way up there.

I remember climbing under the fence there as it had shut down, must have been 83 or 84. I would have been 8 or 9. I couldn't believe somewhere like that even existed. 3 or 4 very tight bowls, a long concrete half pipe and a massive freestyle area with banks. That place blew my mind! There seems to be more and more aussies on here since the original post. Anyone have any pics or stories from there? |
