I`ve got a question..
This could well be the wrong section, I couldn`t figure where it`d suit best..

I`ve just recieved a nos McGill XT, Still in the original shrink..Quite the beautiful sight.

I`m wondering, Is there any particular train of thought when it comes to removing the shrink for display purposes?
I just want to see the graphics in as perfect state as I can, maybe run my fingers over them a little, gently caressing them and the like.

I`m not a collector, and don`t see myself ever selling it, but a couple of people have told me removing the shrink would be an awful idea..
Why exactly would that be? Am I about to commit some sin or something?

Yeah, resale isn`t a concern.. So I figure I`ll get it on the wall looking as good as it possibly can..

The caressing.. well, I can`t say I won`t do that,,

It`s all about the graphic.. I won`t be able to resist running my fingers over it, and actually feeling the different depths of the inks..
