I had the same deck/set-up for nearly 10 years during the 90's because I couldn't find a deck/wheels that I liked. I finally bought a set of 53mm wheels around 94 or so 'cause my bullets weren't much bigger at that point. I still kick myself for not buying the two Groholski's I found in the back of the shop around 96.
"I'll take $40 for the two of them. I can't get rid of those bigger boards."

Of course the early-mid 80s rocked. But they did so exactly because it was the "dark days" as far as the popularity of skating goes. We had a few companies supplying us with good stuff, built our own skate terrain and found pools and life was grand.
Bring back the dark days, baby!

80's were easy. 90's were hard, as all of my skate bros decided to 'grow up' and quit skating. Very small pool crew here in NorCal. Basically Buena and the Oakland hills pools, with almost more pools (24) than skaters. |

I got my shirt today (living in the midwest has finally paid off), and it's Well Fucking Done.
Excellent job, Mr. Skateboard Enthusiast.
You guys are going to be stoked.

Got mine yesterday. Placed side-by-side with a 'real' Indy shirt, the differences are subtle but real. The shirt weight for the Indy is heavier, but the screen printing by Conscience is WAAAAY better. Of course, the message is hilarious. Compare/contrast photos soon. |
