Called Wrex Friday morning since I had the day off of work. He's always up to no good and today was no exception.
1st pool-9:30am roll call.
The pool is no cream puff and the coping sticks out a mile. For some it makes no damn difference and Wrex is one of those folks.
Josh has no problem hitting the tight spots either.
Wrex floating the day away...
Forgot this cats name...I think he was from out of town. I also believe this was his second pool he had ever rode. So respect is in order because grinding in this pool is no east feat.
Words can't explain how hard this shit is. The light did not have a cover and Wrex was having to go around it on these plants.
Next up...the smallest pool I have ever seen. These folks can't be up to anything good.
Tiny and tight
Wrex getting frontside in the shallow..fuggar rips.
Josh in the deepend..if you want to call it that.

15 minutes was up and it was time to hit it. Just as we rolled out and turned the corner in the car a cop in a blazer was heading in. Not sure if the neighbors called or not but we were not sticking around to find out. Hopefully they were just rolling through the neighborhood.
Next up...
I never post up bails, but I will make an exception as it was gnarly regardless with Wrex trying these lean to tails. The coping sticks out like a square so he really had nothing to pop off. He was basically pulling the board early and trying to throw it up to the top.
All in all it was a damn good day...3 pools before noon.. :horns:

Fuck that shit takes me back to the day....it's what we did every day, chasing rumors, getting lucky sometimes, getting busted others. To me, this is what skateboarding is all about.
On a side note...digging the old Lincoln in the last two shots. Makes for a fine backdrop. |
