Funny, that exact same thing happened to me when Hawk was at Southsea skatepark, England in the early 90's.
He was Riding the double kick toe-knee-hawk deck and he just dropped it and wandered off to sign autographes.
I picked it up and stared at it for a while in amazement as i was a little grom and could'nt believe i was holding Hawks board. I probably did think about nicking it but instead i approached him to give it back but as he was signing various boards at that moment he did'nt notice and went to sign his own board.
I had to stop him and tell him i was just handing his board back, he was a cool guy and signed my shirt instead. |
