This is what coolstuff has been alluding to—there were a few details to be ironed out before we could launch it.
A letter from Coolstuff:
To all my skateboard brothers and sisters from all over the world ,
My name is Jimmy Anderson (Coolstuff) a life-long 48 year old skateboarder who started skateboarding when i was 8 years old. ( I have absolutely no relations to the families below )
I had just recently moved to Orange City Fl. from Long Island N.Y. only a few days ago on Oct. 30th 2013. I had never heard of this mother and sons tragic story before I moved down here.
The other day after moving into my new apartment, there was a West Volusia Beacon Extra paper dated Oct. 23-29 2013 on my coffee table with the postponement news regarding Colin Anderson's "DREAM SKATEBOARD PARK" in Orange City Fl.The article was about a young boy named Colin Anderson who was only 12-years old with a deep love and passion for skateboarding.
Colin was struck by a passing truck while skateboarding on Feb. 9th 2013 and passed away from his injuries shortly thereafter in the hospital.
After reading this tragic story, I cried my eyes out and I then made it my mission to help Colin's family with any needs they may have. I immediately contacted the newspaper who put me in touch with Cassandra, who is Colin's mother. When I found out Colin lived only a few blocks from my new apartment and was killed on the highway right outside my new apartment, I then really knew I wanted and needed to help out Colin's family help make his dream park come true.
I started skateboarding in New York when I was 8 in 1973—ironically at the age of 11 in the summer of 1976. I too was hit by a car riding my skateboard in the street. Thank God I was only bruised and scraped.
When I told Colin's mom about my brush with death while skateboarding in the street, and being so close to Colin's age when we were both hit by a motor vehicle, Casandra and I immediately connected.
I am now going full on canvassing for donations from all over the world for Colins Fund. Even if you don't ride a skateboard, please help and understand we are also parents and Casandra has lost her beautiful son.
Please join us in helping Colin, "Our Young Skateboard Brother" make his DREAM SKATEBOARD PARK come true.
Never forget, we are skateboarders and should always look out for each other. No matter if you are 5 or 95, you all know the feeling of freedom and creativity that riding a skateboard can bring. We all realize, as skateboarders, there are times when we fall and get hurt, but get back up to skate another day. But then there are times like these when a beautiful young man did not get up after his fall off his skateboard. Please always remember Colin "Our Fallen Skateboard Brother", and especially whenever you get on your board, give an extra hard push for Colin.
On behalf of all Colin's family and friends,
Thank you and please skate safe,
Jimmy Anderson

Thank you slob.
hi guys, great news to all at SnB........ CDP had received (5) of those p/p amazon blacklight completes in january which were donated from you guys. everyone over at CDP asked me to relay a message to tell you............"THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH, YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST, GREAT, AWESOME, SWEET, FANTASTIC, COOOOOL, KIND and GENEROUS".
(3) of the (5) p/p completes were raffled at a CDP skatejam cookout on jan. 11th and the kids were beyond stoked. We are going to raffle off the other (2) in a few weeks at another event.
for anyone who would like to donate for future event raffles, we can use any new and unused "NEW SCHOOL" wheels, bearings, hardware, trucks, decks, t-shirts, hats and maybe even gift cards from vans and other sk8mall stores. basically looking for any sk8 related stuff for kids ages 5-18 for our monthly "RAFFLES".
oh yeah and any "STICKERS, STICKERS, STICKERS".... pick them up whenever you see them...... they are usually free/or cheap enough and easy to find, ..... also very easy to mail in a padded envelope. " ALL KIDS LOVE STICKERS "
also........ if there are anyone of you out there who bought those powell/peralta blacklight amazon complete specials just for the decks to display and you took them apart, would you please consider sending me the wheels, trucks and hardware? they are the minilogo trucks and wheels.
thanks again guys.
CDP loves you !!!!!!!! |

$40 sent. The DONATE function worked fine for me.
Will send more if I can sell some more skateboard racks or something. |

it's all good bro,
can casi join S&B?
we could give her the name SK8MOMCASI or COLINSK8MOM and immediately give her the order of the skull status.

She can join anytime she wants—though you know how it goes when a female enters the giant sausage party. |
