I know there is a shipping section but hopefully Slob will leave this here for a few days since most people don't check that one.

Just wanted to give you U.S. guys a heads up if you are selling stuff here or on ebay the International rates went up A LOT!

A flat rate envelope that was around $17 is now almost $24.

I just had to ship 3 and lost a bunch of money.

I'm sure decks and larger packages are stupid expensive now so check your rates and adjust them.

Especially if you are on ebay.

This is a part of the World Bank's plan to kill the postal service in all the signatory countries with the governments putting their postal services under devious pressures, cut backs, lay-off etc.

Fucking sad. Such a good service but the the World Bank and the politicians all have the major couriers filling their pockets. Fucking cunts.

I hate to but have to agree with you Slob.

The worker ringing me up dumped the first package in the bin then ran back and got it.
She rang it through again because she thought she put in the wrong shipping method when she saw the total.

Second time through we both saw the increase.

uggh, there lies the problem no one wants to pay shipping. The farther it goes the less they want to pay. I just sent a salba to bouvy. It was &60 to ship, but I like Bouvy and he had a reason to want the board so I didnt mind that much. I think I even raised the shipping to express but I get alot of people offering 250 shipped for a board I am asking $300 plus shipping conus, oh they want that $250 shipped overseas

no matter the location..if they aren't willing to pay the actual shipping cost..then just don't sell a board to them

that goes for anyone, anywhere

a seller should never have to eat the shipping..or lower it to less that what it actually is.

a transaction(sale) is a contract..especially on ebay.

be sure to specify where you will mail it..and how much it will be..and thats that

That's all good but my auctions started last Sunday.
I didn't think the rate increase on a small International flat rate envelope would be almost $7.

The rate just changed yesterday so I want to give sellers a heads up.

Domestic is almost the same on the flat rate stuff but now delivery confirmation is included.

(i believe it was on january 1st that it happened)

always best to post in your auction a shipping estimate for overseas..and have prospective uyers contact you..so you can let them know that your rate may change
