My wife and I sadly said good bye to our 13 yr old retriever collie cross Jack this morning after finding out the Vet couldn't do anything to save him from his ailments.
We are now left with a big hole in our hearts and life, he will be greatly missed.
RIP Jack!  |

This gave me comfort at the loss of our 15 yr old chocolate Lab, Paddy, a number of years ago..........
The Rainbow Bridge
There is a bridge connecting heaven & earth
A space & place known as Rainbow Bridge.
Just this side is a land of green meadows,
Rolling hills, & valleys covered with
Lush grass & beautiful flowers.
And it’s here that all creatures big & small
Come to play when their days are done. At
Rainbow Bridge, even the old & frail are
Young again. They say.
Then one day, from out the blue, an
Animal will break away from the pack & look
Back. Ears perked, tail wagging, nose twitching.
You have been seen. You take your pal in your
Arms and embrace. Your face is kissed again &
Again & you look once more into the eyes of your
Trusting pet. Then the two of you cross
Rainbow Bridge together, never again to be
Separated. They say.
