Not talking about British girls here, so save it.
What are your favorites?
I like Magpies' iridescence, contrast and long tailfeathers, and they raise their babies in my palm trees which is cool:
Mockingbirds have such a rad repertoire of calls, and I like when they would dive-bomb me and my cats. They are scrappy!:

There's a pretty cool oriole that makes appearances here at work. Grew up thinking if I saw a prey bird in the sky, things were good...have a thought I may come back as an osprey once I'm done here.
The wake me up abilities of cardinals and the flock of parrots over my house in the morning have slightly soured my thoughts on those guys. |

Yeah seeing Orioles is a rare treat for me. I love when one shows up.
I do remember the shitload of wild parrots down in Belmont Shore, but you have cardinals too? |

I hate magpies and crows (which are gigantic) and all the other noisy shit birds.
But there's a few I have great respect for and caution.
Great Snow Owls are fucking huge here. Body like chubby black Lab dog.
There's some real big bald eagles here too—seen them even larger than this one.
Large variety of hawks here. Very cool watching them soar and hunt on a hot day. Here's a Swainson.
Lot of Perigrine Falcons as well. |

Nah, just remember cardinals being a pain in the hangover ass at 5am down in Texas, but was stoked when I finally saw what woke me up. Yeah those Shore birds hang out in my alley in the morning. I laugh thinking that someone should let an educated talking one go and somehow teach the others to finally say something. |

Absolutely brutal. Pea shooter straws with popping corn work real well when "Shut The Fuck UP" doesn't work.
That sound is torture. |
