Reserve is set unrealistically high (unless theres another bellrodnie23 in the game). If it sells Ill be over the moon, if not I get an idea what its worth.
I did the same thing with a POLO hat once. I set the reserve for $1,000, i never expected to sell it and i didnt want to sell it. I knew they sold well, i thought maybe $500-$600. When that reserve got hit and it sold for $1,100, i nearly had a heart attack. Craziest thing ever. |

I found this thread while looking for info on this board in Google, so thought I would reply.
I had this deck - in fact so did my brother. I had the blue one pictured, and he had a green one. I also remember the shop had a red one. We got them in about 1991 or 1992 from Macs Skate Shop in Poole, which is still open. By then the deck was a couple of years old as I remember it was discounted, about £30 as opposed to £50 that a new deck would cost. I was only 11 or 12 at the time.
I had no idea it was so rare or sought after, it's cool to see people still talking about it. Unfortunately ours are long gone and were pretty beat up anyway. But I thought you all might like to know that somebody else had it, and there were other colours available. |
