Question: Why is there no new Powell, no replacement for the glory days of Santa Cruz, that magic that made H-Street amazing?
Why is it that we hold onto the better days, when today seems to be just people rehashing our fun times and never our new times?
Someone needs to run skateboarding, bring it into a new light and I like the vibe of many companies and there products but I don't appreciate anyone attempting to put out 3,000 flavors of skateboarding and hyping philosophy when its just something to have fun doing; with your bro's, your kids and by your lonesome on Friday night attacking some kirb like a mad monk or making some creaking mini ramp pitch and squawk.
Skateboarding should be simple and represent an escape not a fucking life choice. |
