I've got one for sale, but you'll have to come to CA to get it...

Check Craigslist. There are still deals to be had, even with Cafe Racer madness sweeping America.
Someone near Atlanta is selling a 350 for $400. Doesn't run, but that's probably due to the seller not knowing what's wrong more than there being a serious problem. |

Got the new battery in it and she fired up first try. Died shortly thereafter, pissing fuel from the right hand carb. Tapped on it to unstick the float, but she wouldn't fire again.
Looks like I'm doing a carb clean/rebuild next weekend. |

Dropped my motorcycle on my leg ramping it out of a truck last Wednesday.
Had a knot the size of a grapefruit on it for about a day, now it's about like a tennis ball. Woke up yesterday and my ankle had turned dark purple. Decided to go see the doc before work today.
Not broken. Deep bruise. Blood from the injury had settled in my ankle, turning it almost black
On Wednesday evening:

Here's my additions:
'67 Garelli. Italian 50cc four speed. Fun little bike, bought it in pieces out of a barn (with papers!). Rebuilt it from the frame up but unfortunately replaced every bearing but the lower con rod since I didn't want to press the crank apart. 300 miles later that bearing melted and blew up my piston. Now, four months of searcing on two continents later I own two parts engines and enough parts to get it back on the road! Crank is at the shop being re-assembled and should be back running in a few weeks, way stoked. Also, one of the parts engines has a 100cc piston/cylinder on the same bottom end. It's getting built up too to swap in. Tiny bike with a 100cc two stroke = major fun.
^Since the photo I put some narrow drag bars on the bike and removed the rack. The Euro models came stock with clip ons and low seats, American imports got lame high risers and bolt on lameness.
While the bike has been down I picked up a '78 Honda CB400 "Hawk" to ride in the meantime. Hadn't been started or moved since the '80s, only 7k miles, twenty minutes of carb cleaning (plus oil and other small bits) and it's a bulletproof reliable ride. Since I've had it I put 2" rise bars on it instead of the stockers, but I'm not going to touch it other than that since it'll be for sale once the above bike is running, to fund the repair of my Yamaha.
And finally, I got this for free (no papers but applied for lost title and new one coming, owner died 12 years ago). '74 RD350. Found out in the woods back when I was in high school, came back four years later with my truck and it was still there! It's been laid down gently by the looks of it, and everything that can be seized is seized. Going to start on it this summer, can't freakin wait.

Super easy to rebuild (if you're mechanically inclined).
You can do the whole motor in a day |

| ^Good to know. Shouldn't be too bad as I've done a few two stroke enduro engines already. Parts seem to be pretty easy to come by which is a bonus. |
