His moniker represents the fact that he was riding a Santa Cruz deck at the time, not that he is a city of Santa Cruz guy.

I just love that southern hospitality from the ATL. What gentlemen you are.
I guess if you live 3000 miles from here "santa cruz" is just marketing device or brand. But to us here it's a place: so naturally "santacruzskater" sounds like a person who would be from santa cruz, not just some guy who bought a product and feels he should name himself after what he chooses to do with his money. |
