the documentary....or requests to be edited out or something
Stacy does not work like that, nor does he have personal agendas with this film other than making a good skateboarding documentary focusing on 6 main riders of the Bones Brigade team that made a huge impact on the industry in the 80's. This film is not a Powell Peralta documentary, nor is it a propaganda film to sell more products:( It's a story that needs to be heard, so people will know that being a professional skateboarder, even through each individual adversity, with love, passion and commitment... there's a success story here that changed the lives of many and influenced a generation of skaters all over the world and still continues today:)
It's to tell a story of six different individuals who rode for the Bones Brigade team and what they had to go through to be apart of an amazing collective of riders from that era. This film is as real as it gets, honest, vulnerable and very transparent!
People will soon find out the "story inside" the minds of these six individuals... separate from just all the skate photos, videos, contest results and product endorsements.
Mike V is not the main focus of this film, but he does have a few sound bites from his interview with Stacy P.
There were many skaters who contributed to the Brigade over the years and to include all their stories in one film, that film would be a 10 hour movie:(
I've seen it and lets just say... People will look at these individual professional skateboarding careers and lives in a whole new light and appreciation after you see this film:)
cheers,

^^^nice work stevie and thanks for your input, we all love the history of the bones brigade/powell and can't wait for this film.
we can only hope some other major labels from the 80's get inspired after the bones brigade release and tell there story in there own doco's.

Honestly, I have no problem with a 10 hour movie of this, I'd love it! |

I feel a little sorry for him .. the blog reaks of insecurity
All I can see in his post is "poor me/ Ive been had again/ I just wanna be a brand manager/ im a pro/ poor me"
All this has a source.. its usually finances & a lack of, putting pressure on ones home life, career .. the circle of shit, it goes round, |

Maybe mike's initial problem was that his first dream was to be a professional skateboarder (according to his blog post) rather than just being a regular, old everyday skateboarder who rode skateboards??
When one has expectations, they are only setting themselves up for disappointment. |
