| If I could do 2 these days I'd be surprised. I think I topped out around 5 back in like 1978. I'll still do some spacewalks now and then, those feel great when you get them good; like you could go forever(not anymore though) |

| If you skated in the late 70's early eighties like I did, freestyle was part of your skills....I can still knock out 4-6 on a proper surface....now what about the jumping over the bar thing and landing....have not tried that lately |

I saw Tony Alva jump from board to board over thirteen barrels at this gig in '76. that was pretty impresive.

I think I did 4-5 but I got dizzy and couldn't count em.
I bust out the freestyle deck lots at work now I have an indoor work bay. It keeps the blood flowing when I get tired of sitting in front of the computer all day. |

I went out this weekend and tried again to see what would happen. I struggled with one. Something was off besides my balance. I know that my best were on a Lance Mountain Crest PP with Gullwings, Ratbones, and super tight trucks. Saturday night I was on my 8.25 deck lose trucks and modern wheels. I have been off and on the board with minor injuries all year and have lost a little bit of the balance and muscle memory. Now I am upset and want to work to bring my 360s back.
We should start a thread of what tricks to learn and in what order for us guys who took a break and came back. |
