Wanted to bump this to the front again to see if anyone else was interested in either the July 22 weekend in WI or the TBD weekend in Ohio... |

AOSfest 3 will be "sometime" in August as of plans right now...still finalizing with this 5 Points dork that offered to help out cause he is some kinda local hero or some crap with all the inside knowledge and info. Personally, I think he just wants everyone to come see him rip his local park.

yeah, you can all come and watch me rip our local park. it's got a 5 ft bowl in it. AWESOME!!! We can all do manuals around it. I'll bring my GT and we can practice our Endo's, and some sweet jumps! It'll be great!
Like I said, Athens/Skatopia is the best spot in Ohio to do this, by far. Anywhere else, and you'll all be disapointed. |

Here's the link for the Jellystone website:
http://www.yogiwarrens.com/index/skatepark
The dates are July 22-25, all or part of it. Anyone who wants to camp might want to call ASAP and make sure they've got room.
Here's the review from skateparks.com:
Description
This is a SICK park! Once people find out about this park things in central Wisco will never be the same. The park is designed and built by TrueRide with a concrete bowl designed and built by M3D design. The features of this park are too many to mention. 5' spined mini, 24' wide; 5' Piano Bank Bowl; 6' Volcano; Kinked and Straight Hubbas; Rails; Planters; Curved Manual Pads; and that doesn't include the beginners section or the concrete bowl!!! This park is absolutely HUGE! Arguably one of the best outdoor parks in the midwest! Biggest downfall, $5 to ride.
I kinda think $5 is cheap, but that's just me...
I'm sure we can hook you up with transportation, Christian, lemme get a list together of who all is going and we'll work it out.

Here's their rates:
http://www.yogiwarrens.com/index/rates
It basically boils down to:
$40/night/tent site + $8 per person for weekdays
$50/night/tent site + $8 per person for weekends
If you stay longer than 3 days, they waive the $8 daily fee
This rate will allow access to all facilities including Yogi's Waterworld, Cranberry Lake Park Skate Park, both mini golf courses, paddle boats, beach, and the waterslides.
Here's another option:
Daytime visitors coming in for day to visit a current registered camper:
This price will allow guest to use all facilities.
Daytime camper visitors
(if prepaid by current camper before arrival).......................$8.00 per day
If Not prepaid by current camper (Sun-Thursday)..............$15.00 per day
If Not prepaid by current camper (Fri-Sunday) ..................$20.00 per day
Anybody who wanted to stay elsewhere could use me as the "current registered camper" and just pay $8.00. |

Here's a map showing the actual location of the park...
It looks like it's exactly halfway between Minneapolis/St. Paul and Milwaukee. Should be a pretty quick drive from Chicago, too. |
