Well, I just recently got it, so I've only taken it out a couple times. But I haven't had much luck with it, maybe because I got some cheap ass ammo at the gun show, but it just kept jamming up on me and bummed me out.

Casey,
Bad ammo will do it, did you clean it before you went shooting? If there is any cosmo residue, that will do it too . Nice gun, I wish I had one!,

Anyone have any suggestions for a decent, cheaper, hand gun for a first time buyer to learn how to shoot?

Thanks

Rossi Handguns makes a nice revolver. Simple to use, easy to know if it's loaded, easy to learn gun safety basics and with a 4" barrel descent enough accuracy at 40 yards, good shooting handgun and a clean design yet still scary looking.

Braztech R851 runs about $260

Smith and Wesson has a selection of snub nose and nice 4" barrel revolvers starting at about $180+ Reliable.

I use to work for a armored car service that made me carry a gun. I picked a stub nosed 38 special. Well my mom works at a bullet factory and brings home blemished boxes of 38 shells. Over the last 3 years ive collected over 3,000 bullets and my gun broke so I sold it. Now im stuck with the bullets id buy another but I dont like how it only holds 5 bullets then i have to reload. Is their a gun out their that holds 38 bullets in a magazine ?

Buy a 357, they also shoot 38s and hold 6 in the cylinder.

How did your other pistol break?

After firing 4 times the 5th round wont revolve into it's place. It would get mid way stuck and id have to push it foward manualy.

It should be under warranty if it is a mechanical failure and you bought it new.

Write the company and tell them what is going on.

Took my 10 yr old to the range today. He's never shot a handgun. Started him out with a .22and he killed it
