the hot juice... plenty of squish but that's it

i'm looking for maximum "squish" and speed.

slides and such aren't part of the equation.

my client is like in his 60's n shit. he just wants a sick ass board and "jelly soft" wheels. he also wants it to "fit".

So far, I've got a suicidal board, custom grip with pot leaves collage, indy 169's, bones reds, and.........i'm thinking tunnel rocks.

not to mention; this board isn't for an s&b'r.

'era correct' is actually a bad thing for this guy.

he's thinking more along the lines of retro "feel" will modern kick.

fyi, the last board I set up for him had krypt classic 78A's and they were too hard for him.

other than that, everything is peachy.

those kryptos can be slid more easily than oj IIIs for sure! i own and have ridden both.

i like the spitfires myself because of the modern street wheel shape, but a super wide square lipped wheel like road riders or ojIIIs will make an already soft/grippy wheel feel softer/grippier so thats what id suggest for your friend.

going further you can do true longboard wheels if they can go over 65mm. gravity burners, abec-11 zig zags, etc. are all 66-70mm and 74-78a with wide contact patches and square lips.

whoah that pops! i'm hella color blind though. my deck is natural stain. with black and yellow and white. And I guess the pentagram is green.

i think yellow oj's or black alligators would be sick.

are those indies on yours? what stage?

looks good bro.

go with either 169s or 215s and some reissue ratbones

Jacob is right. This is the only way I would go. Period correct and hella cool. I have a set of 85a Ratbones pretty nice on rough terrain but maybe not as fast as the og

Thanks for all the advice fellas. I wasn't kooking to make anything era-specific. I'm building more for utilitarian purposes and quality more than anything else.

I've just pulled the trigger on some white oj III's pure juice 78a 60mm wheels. I felt the whites were the way to go since I might just keep the suicidal and provide the buyer with a reissue obrien reaper in white.

btw: the ojIII's on a sc reaper would be era specific or what?
