I am trying to finish off a BB line and am stuck on a LMFP. I can't afford a mint one and the reissue one i've got plugging the hole looks shit. How much would a very convincing 7ply restoration set me back?

Restorations are really tricky! Depends on the condition that it was restored in and how well the restoration was done.

Let say if it just had the rails filled in but other wise was in perfect condition ur looking at around 750 but if it was a complete restore from a toothpick and was actually done well maybe around 400.

Shitty/half ass restoration, like 200ish.

Thanks mate, i presume that if it is restored colour wouldn't affect the price too much?
