give me some Louisiana Hot sauce ("the one w/ the red dot") on eggs, Crystal on shrimp, Texas Pete on pizza, Chipoltle Tabasco on chili, & Franks Original for my wing sauce!
you can have all that "Scorned Woman" et al
exactly. i keep 3-4 bottles of Louisiana in the house at all times. |

Glad to see we have some "hot sauce guys" here.
I'm also really fond of my Mad Dog 357 and Blairs 2am.
As far as wings go though, I'm loyal to Frank's Red Hot Buffalo and Anchor Bar Orignal Buffalo sauce.
(Basically, both are the classic Frank's w/ pre-added butter, which is a must) |

DUDE THAT'S IT!!! holy shit thank you!
now, where can i get some?
There's a restaurant supply store by my house that has tons of it. Want some?
Also, I just found some Louisiana Gold Hot Sauce with Horseradish that I'm pretty hyped on right now.
I live in little mexico now.. found some at a little market.. they have it in red and XXXHOT!
so good.
but this stuff, while not hot.. is the secret to a KICK ASS quesadilla or mini soft taco.
i swear by it. |

Eddie Boy got me some lethal shit at Chile Addicts in Albuquerque, NM.
Chile Addict's Revenge Hot Sauce - (heat range: EXTREMELY HOT)
Chile Addict's answer to the questions; what is the hottest sauce I can buy? With a Scoville rating in excess of 350,000, this hot sauce is actually hotter than the worlds hottest peppers. We reach this unbelievable plateau by adding pure capsaicin which carries a rating of half-a-million. Use with caution, one drop at a time. Packed in beautiful cobalt blue bottle you'll want to keep after the sauce is gone. A "must have" for collectors. All natural. No sugar or preservatives. 4 oz bottle.
This shit is fucking amazing. 1 drop in anything and you notice it. |

They make it sound like it's the hottest sauce you can buy - period.
That's some BS marketing, b/c there's stuff WAY above 350K Scoville.
Not to mention that Habaneros have been rated at 600K & Jolokias reach 1M+.
And on top of that, pure pharmaceutical-grade capsaicin is 16M Scoville (not .5M).
That's how Blair's was able to release the 16 Million Reserve - it's straight up capsaicin!

I like Texas Pete. Not made in Texas but North Carolina.
Also agree with Kirk about tasting food, not just how manly one is. |
